La goal

In the end this is what the finished product should look like. A simple nearly stock b manta. Nothing fancy besides them 17's in the front and 18's in the back. There's still some unsolved issues about the front spoiler. The original didn't have one but in my opinion it gives it a lil' more flare or whatever that could be called in english. But for the price u buy one of those thing's it'd be a waste to not try it.

Besides the spoiler and the light covers there aren't any big modifications on the outside. Only the chrome sideview mirror and the window style on the side. (according to babelfish "style" should be the right word but I'm not so sure bout that.. but becouse of the lack of better english grammer that'll hafta do.)

And ofcourso last but not least, the color.

The first idear was to go with black and chrome details. Like the chrome bumpers, sideview mirror, window trims and alloys. But we're still open for idears.

'K zat nog te twijfelen om de kop iets met harttransplantatie volbracht ofzoiets te doen.... Op de een of andere manier word dat wel vaker zo genoemd als er een "nieuw" blok in de auto gaat, maar de irratie van de doodgelopen weg nog is te bewandelen weerhield me net genoeg om 'm fantasieloos op te vullen met vraagtekentje. Dus ja, 't is een doelloze titel die duidelijk niet de nieuwschierigheid moet opwekken van de verdwaalde surfer.

Maar back on topic, de auto.

Zoals ze zeggen,"een foto zegt meer dan duizend woorden!".

Hij zit er definitief in, of eigelijk zo definitief als je definitief kan beschouwen met de duidelijke wetenschap van het vergeten zijn van zaken die eigelijk toch wel belangrijk zijn. Het zal namelijk nog wel gebeuren dat ie er iets uit moet om wat aan te passen. Zo zijn de motorsteunen op t blok zelf nog niet geverfd.... foutje...

Enfin, hij zit er iig mooi in (al zeg ik t zelf). Na t voorterrein nog is ondergekwakt te hebben met wat verf is t geheel gemonteerd. Daar wilde ik ook nog wat kiekjes van maar 't was al te donker.

We zijn de hele dag zo'n beetje daar gebleven om de voorkant af te maken en 't geheel erin te proppen. Maar uiteindelijk was het echt wel de moeite waard. Hij zit echt mooi in het midden. Bijna tegen 't vuurschot, zo diep mogelijk.

Deze week gaat joel hopelijk t spruitstuk maken/laten maken op school.

Met de autocad ervaring en wat technische kennis is t gelukt om er een cad-tekening van te maken die misschien uitgesneden kan worden met zo'n computer ding achtig iets. Als dat lukt kunnen we bijna gaan starten, kijken of ie t nog wel doet. Want hij begint alweer een beetje te roesten...
