Just a full view of the car right before stripping it down.
After an half an hour drive we finally got at our shed. I forgot to take of shot of that. It's nothing special though. A nice big dusty shed. We can't use all of the space cuz' it's already filled with other stuff from the original owner. He has an old Datsun taft wich is pretty nice.
But back to the stripping. We started with stripping down the interier and the front side panels wich went reasonably smooth. The interier had some stuck rusted bolts that'll hafte be drilled out but what do u expect from an car nearly older than our both lifespans together.
So the interier is almost completely removed.
First what it looked like..
The interier is all out here... the picture's a bit overlighted but u can see the emptyness =D

The windows were reasonably easy to remove. The only problem happened with the frontscreen.... after removing every other window i broke the last....
Dunno if u can see it on the picture but there's a crack top right. Luckely this one already had a small crack somewhere wich was the reason that I can still happilly keep stripping it with the actu
al ownor of this blazing brick of rust, my brother.
Now some pics of the 8 valve 1.9L 4 cilinder engine.
The engine is in line with the length of the car wich was new for me in a european car. All I've seen sofar had front wheel drive but this has it like most old american cars. Those cars have about the same principal as this one wich I personally like alot becuz it's a nice step for my future camaro.
Anyway's .. in this picture everything's still as bro bought it. With in the middle the radiator with the engine blok behind it. On the right there's some brake- and windscreen-flued resevoirs. On the left is the LPG system. The thorn in my brother's eye. Mostly becouse of the big gas-tank in the back but it also decreases the output of the engine wich results in less hp's wich is opposite of my brothers idear (and ofcourse most mens idear) of the magic under the hood.
After a 2 days of stripping this is what we got out if
it so far...
It's also a lil' hard to see but we started with draining most of the flueds from the engine. After that we could remove the radiator and on the second day (nearly) all the LPF-installation came out.
At the back we took out both tanks and lights end some wiring.
We didn't tag all the wiring wich is a good idear but we plan on rewiring most of it cuz we have the wiring plan of the car.
Well that's it sofar.. next time we hope to lift out the engineblock so stay tuned.
